Getting Started
Ski/Snowboard Lesson Registration
Learn the basics of skiing or boarding before you hit the hill.
A ski or snowboard lesson from a trained, qualified instructor will make your experience safer and much more enjoyable. Take a look at our family and private classes below to see what works for you, and be sure to check out the FAQs for information on how to prepare for your first time on the hill.
Some things to keep in mind:
Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance.
Please call (269) 694-2820 extension 4 if you can not provide 48 hour advance notice for your reservation, and we’ll do our best to schedule your request over the phone.
Walk-in lessons are subject to availability.
If you’re a beginner, consider coming out to Bittersweet on a weekday. Weekday times, especially mornings, are generally less crowded than weekends and holidays.
Special information for kids
- To ensure safety during COVID-19, all kids 3 – 5 years old who are first time or beginner skiers/snowboarders must take a private lesson.
- Also due to COVID-19, the parent or other responsible person may be asked or may wish to participate in the lesson by providing ‘hands-on’ assistance in order to maintain social distancing between the instructor and child. This decision will be made by the parent in collaboration with the instructor on the day of the lesson.
- Your Bittersweet Ski School instructor will practice social distancing and be masked at all times.
